Saturday 8th April – the green was officially opened by President John Campbell with his wife Elspeth bowling the ‘silver jack‘ for what is hoped will be another very promising and successful season for the club.
Market stall and Open Day success!
Our Open Day on Sunday, 21st April, linked with having a stall and a grass area for target bowls at the Farmers’ Market on the Saturday in the Wellmeadow proved a huge success with approximately 13 potential full members being signed up under our £25 ‘introductory scheme‘. Big thank you to all who helped in making both days a great success.

A very successful day was held on Saturday 17th June and thank you to all those who entered and helped out on the day. Congratulations to the winners Alice Cairns and Nancy Milne of Canmore BC.
Well done to our ladies in reaching the Bowls Scotland finals at Ayr. Our Ladies Fours are Pat Howland, Elspeth Campbell, Beth McCurdy and Lorna Andrew along with our Ladies Senior Fours of Judy Duncan, Babs Falconer, Sheila Beedie and Elizabeth Reid.
